Dr. Andrea M. Barnhart graduated from Washington State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and earned the Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2003.

Dr. Barnhart's education and experience provide her with the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques in diagnosing and treating visual and eye health conditions. She is an active participant in all local, state and national optometric associations. As well, she is a featured speaker on the issues of practice management at her alma mater, SC College of Optometry.

While Dr. Barnhart has lived all over the U.S., she and her husband have chosen to make San Diego their home. When she's not in the office you, can find her in the outdoors. And she has a love of music as well.
